Webinar 5th Socio-Economic Monitoring: Labour Market and Origin

The fifth Socio-Economic Monitoring of the FPS Employment, Labour and Social Dialogue and Unia shows that the position of people of foreign origin on our labour market has improved in recent years. However, their employment rate is still much lower than that of people of Belgian origin, especially compared to our neighbouring countries. Moreover, the COVID-19 pandemic showed how vulnerable their position remains.

In this Webinar, we will present the latest edition of the biannual Socio-Economic Monitoring, which contains analyses of the impact of COVID-19 on migrant workers, student work, grade repetition and posted workers in Belgium. Experts from the ILO and the OECD will reflect on our findings and put them in an international perspective.

The webinar is free of charge and will be in English
